How Vitamins Work

Skin is human beings largest organ. For most the human body is covered with around 6 pounds of skin. The skin serves as a protective shield against heat, light, injury, and infection, regulates body temperature, stores water, fat, and vitamin D.

Vitamins work to nourish the skin from the outside in. 

Vitamin E:
Best known as an antioxidant, used to reduce the appearance of blemishes on the skin, for example stretch marks and sunburns. Vitamin E also boasts anti-aging effects, as it can help reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Vitamin C: 
Helps the creation of collagen, which helps give skin its firmness and strength. It is also an antioxidant that slows the 
rate of free-radical damage (free radicals are unstable molecules that damage collagen and cause skin dryness, fine 
lines and wrinkles). 

Vitamin D: 
Generally skin dryness can be significantly improved with the use of a vitamin D. The antioxidant properties of vitamin
D can help to avoid early aging and damage to skin cells. Shea Butter: 
Contains valuable vegetable fats that help support cell renewal and circulation, making it a good rejuvenator for dry or
aging skin. It also contains natural sun protectors.
